So last year on September 30th, my dad passed away after a long 3 year fight. Surprisingly he passed from Cirorsis (not sure of spelling) of the liver. I say surprisingly because he never had a drink in his life. He was put on several different medications over his life. As you know, many medications are just for the symptoms that is causing you problems.  They do not treat the problem. Anyway, those medications have side effects which cause other problems.  Some of those meds caused his kidneys to shut down. He had stage 3 kidney failure along with his liver shutting down.  His last few weeks were very painful and long. But now he is in heaven where he wanted to go for so long. Love you, Daf
